About Us
Hi! I'm Jennie Moore, and I simply love helping teachers create magic in their classrooms. After years of teaching and leading in New Zealand primary schools (and collecting more whiteboard markers than I care to count!), I discovered Kagan Cooperative Learning and it completely transformed my approach to teaching.
The structures aligned brilliantly with our New Zealand curriculum, especially when it came to building those essential skills of working together and contributing meaningfully - something we Kiwis do rather well, I'd say!
I was so inspired by the impact on my students that I decided to become a certified Kagan trainer myself, and then (along with my husband) ‘became’ Kagan Professional Development New Zealand in 2012.
Now, through Kagan New Zealand, I have the joy of sharing these powerful teaching strategies with educators across Aotearoa. Due to being content-free, Kagan structures work beautifully in our diverse classrooms. Nothing makes me happier than seeing teachers light up when their students engage with learning in new and exciting ways.
Want to know more about bringing Kagan structures into your classroom? I'd love to chat! After all, there's nothing quite like seeing students truly fizzing with learning.

Kagan was founded in the late 1960s by Dr. Spencer Kagan, who developed the structural approach to cooperative learning. Spencer and Laurie Kagan, both bring extensive educator experience and have developed Kagan workshops to mimic classroom conditions, facilitating transference and implementation following the training.
